At Benefits 2 Care, we believe that employee benefits should do more than check a box—they should truly support the people who make a difference every day. That’s why we help compassionate benefits advisors map solutions that align with the real-life challenges faced by employees in healthcare, education, childcare, social services, and nonprofits. These industries are built on care, yet their workers often struggle to access the support they need.
We know that great benefits already exist, but they often aren’t delivered in a way that makes sense for employees facing major life events. Our approach focuses on context, timing, and personalization—ensuring benefits are not just available but actually used when they matter most.
Our Story

Benefits 2 Care was conceived and founded by Candice Smith, a passionate advocate for caregivers and a seasoned entrepreneur in the care economy and family-tech sectors. After nearly a decade spent selling care solutions directly to individuals, small businesses, and nonprofits—and later integrating them into employee benefits—Candice saw firsthand that access to resources wasn’t the problem. The real issue was that benefits weren’t being delivered in a way that aligned with the urgent, deeply personal challenges employees face during major life events.
As the founder of Caregiven, she built a platform to support caregivers, ultimately selling it to an employee benefits carrier. But through that journey, one truth became clear: even the best benefits fail if they aren’t contextualized to meet people where they are, in the moments they need them most.
